SBC GREECE is an independent, non-profit organization and the official member of World Green Building Council (WGBC) in Greece. WGBC, with a network of 100+ national Green Building Councils, is the largest and most influential organisation worldwide for sustainability in the built environment.

The aim of this Committee is to promote and enhance scientific activities that will direct the building sector, the built environment and infrastructure towards sustainable development, with emphasis on energy saving, environmental protection, conservation of natural resources, pollution reduction, improvement of the health and wellbeing of occupants and protection of the cultural heritage.
