Sustainable Building Council Greece organized the first webinar of the “Building Circularity Sessions” on the road towards “Circular Building Materials” (CBMs). The webinar took place on Wednesday, November 15 and Georgios Karakatsanis, CEO and co-founder of EVOTROPIA and Chair of the Circular Economy Committee of Sustainable Building Council Greece presented the characteristics of the CBMs market.

CBMs already comprise a significant multi-billion $ market that is relatively still under the radar of #circulareconomy professionals in the building sector. Within the context of the #eugreendeal and #eutaxonomy, the webinar highlighted vital physical and technical aspects of CBMs, their quality control issues, the dominance of concrete and cement in the mix, as well as their role in #lifecycle accounting and future uses.
